In a Nutshell
Her journey as an entrepreneur started in her University days and even though she failed miserably at commercialising her social events, she realised her love of planning and organising events, connecting people and creating communities. Decades later she went on to build communities in London, Moscow and Dubai, priding herself on doing things differently; experimenting with new ideas and formats even if it fails
In 2018 she founded Hubpreneur, a mobile app birthed through her need to connect with freelancers and business owners and subsequently she setup her Dubai Marketing Agency in 2020 working with remote teams of outsourced freelancers and micro-businesses on B2B and B2C projects
Fari's Love of Failures
Having grown up with an entrepreneurial family that spanned generations, the struggles and achievements of founders and business owners were nothing new to Fari and after a string of failed ventures she led the Dubai based chapter of F@#K-Up Nights, bringing stories of failures to a growing community of startups, founders and wantrepreneurs. Her love for deshaming failures brought her to create this podcast, which has been in the making since 2018 and suffered its own stories of failures to date..but let's save that story for another time!
Why a podcast?
After discovering an unseemingly odd topic to resonate with, the medium of sharing the failures naturally moved from community events to more in-depth conversations with guests who were glad to divulge their failures and share their learnings. For Fari and the guests, talking about what didn't go according to plan and finding the lessons through the failure feels like a therapy session..we hope you gain from the experiences being shared in this podcast
